How do I turn the D3S ID on and off?

Ensure both the D3S detector and phone are turned on for use

In order to turn the D3S ID on, you must turn on both the D3S detector and the phone:

1. To turn on the D3S, press and hold the device button until the LED illuminates.
2. To activate the Kromek ID app, turn on the smartphone and navigate to the Kromek ID app. The smartphone and D3S detector should automatically connect by your chosen method (either USB or Bluetooth).

To turn the device off, both the D3S detector and phone should be turned off. The D3S detector can be turned off by pressing and holding the device button for five seconds. The LED will flash every second. The button should then be released on the fifth flash. The smartphone can then also be turned off.
