How do I turn the D3M ID on and off?

Ensure both the D3M detector and phone are turned on for use

In order to turn the D3M ID on, you must turn on both the D3M detector and the phone:

1. To turn on the D3M, press and hold the device button until the screen illuminates.
2. To activate the Kromek ID app, turn on the smartphone and navigate to the Kromek ID app. The smartphone and D3M detector should automatically connect by your chosen method (either USB or Bluetooth).

To turn the device off, both the D3M detector and phone should be turned off. The D3M detector can be turned off by pressing and holding the device button for five seconds. Vertical white bars will begin to fill the screen. Release the device button when the fifth and final bar fills the screen. 

The smartphone can then also be turned off.
